Our History

Driver Southall began life over 100 years ago as two companies.

George Driver and Sons and Southall and Smith – manufacturing automatic weighing machines for tea, coffee, baking powder and flour.

In the mid 1970’s the two companies were merged under the control of W & T Avery Ltd and continued to supply Checkweighing machines, Weighing Machines and Vibratory Conveyors to an ever expanding Food Packaging Industry as Driver Southall Ltd.

More recently in 1990 the company became independent and continues to supply new machines, spare parts, service and maintenance to its many customers throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and the World.
